$2,500 cash award, no strings attached
Plaque Award
A customized crystal octagon plaque with the individual’s name, the name of the recommending high school and an inscription that reads: “Whose actions motivate others to never quit no matter the obstacle.”
Our objective
Beyond just the monetary award and plaque it helps to provide recognition and acknowledgement to individuals that really aren’t looking for it; thereby helping to elevate their accomplishments at such a young age, motivate them to continue preserving and more importantly expose them to a wider audience of the community to be commended.
This is not about a resume or building a resume or a GPA or athletic track record. It’s about have you demonstrated that you don’t quit? And is this a quality you will not only continue to foster but you have this ability to be positively infectious with others?
At the high school level this is an unusual kind of grant. The purpose of this grant is laser focused on a high school student developing character that includes resilience.
